The ICCAD is committed to doing everything possible to expose violence for the evil itis and to work in any way we can to eliminate it. Children are the future of the nation and the leaders of tomorrow. Speakers spoke eloquently on the subject. We need to instill the seeds of love, compassion, humility, kindness, patience, calmness and tolerance in our children and teach them to follow eternal laws and principles of life. Speakers stressed that, “We also need to encourage them to live in harmony with others, become global citizens and create a better and safer place to live in. Gandhi said, “Be a change, if you wish to see a change in the world. When we change, the world changes.” “Today more than ever, with the world beset by violence affecting millions of innocent victims both as the result of armed struggles for power and national dominance over others, and the widespread violent cruelty, even within family units, that is found in every culture, it is Important that people of good will do everything we can to strive for a society that will not tolerate violence in any of its ugly forms”, said Chintan Bhavsar, Founder and president of the Nataraj youth cultural Organization.
